 The Pipe band officially started on Nov. 17, 1989 although there were probably meetings before that. A bunch of people who thought they would like to learn the Bagpipes under the tutelage of John Webb started the Pender Harbour School of Piping. As they grew gradually in skill and number, the President of Legion #112, Bob Jaggard, who played the bass drum in the band, persuaded the Legion to sponsor us as their Pipe Band.
We rehearse every Thursday evening at 7:30 P. M. in the School of Music. Join us!
